Don't know about the other guys, but I've tried to build around Lavaborn Muse several times, and love the card - love it even more with a lifelink of somesort on it.
so if I'm counting right, 6 one costs, 8 two cost, 12 three cost, 8 four cost.
I'm always concerned with the mana costs and versatility - I know you want the retrace on raven's crime to make sure your opponent has 0 cards in hand, but it's been my experience there is usually way more draw than discard can keep up with - below 3 cards is do able, 0 that's really tough.
So I'd maybe consider just the Ravenous Rats, who give you a discard and are a chump block and maybe could get you to that 3 damage against your opponent. Or trade some Agonizing memories for Hypnotic specter, lowers your curve and might help with sygg in that it too is a lightning rod card, plus costs less.
Might even consider a loxodon warhammer, if you can control and stall into it on a big nyxathid or muse it might help that you might have had to be using much of your burn on critter control. At least then your opponent has to deal with a potentially 10/7 trample/lifelink, or you 6/3 lifelinked muse where you might gain three life a turn.
But don't listen to me, all of my muse decks have been total failures, cause everyone runs so much draw at fnm it made discard nearly pointless when I used it.
I have to say I don't know what agonizing memories do (a black sorcery which puts cards on top of an opponents library, i think...) or Rekindled Flame (....blank....) so you get props just for using cards which aren't on standard decklists....pun intended.
I did always admire David's lavaborn muse decks, though. And this one seems pretty fun.
Agonizing Memories - 2BB - Look at target player's hand and choose two cards from it. Put them on top of that player's library in any order.
Rekindled Flame - 2RR - Rekindled Flame deals 4 damage to target creature or player. At the beginning of your upkeep, if an opponent has no cards in hand, you may return Rekindled Flame from your graveyard to your hand.

There is nothing sweeter than Agonizing an opponent to see they don't have the answer they need, and burying it 2 cards deeper.
Good point. I'm just afraid this deck rolls over to all those cruel ultimadeum decks.
I could see it doing ok BW tokens and RW tokens--as long as long as you have a couple of volcanic fallouts. Agonizing memories will be good in that matchup. But then when you both start topdecking, a seige gang or a cloudgoat could ruin your fun, and memories is a poor card to topdeck.
I was just thinking of the two spectres you could run, and since you're splashing blue now, you can plagarize when they cruel edict, and you can maindeck mulldrifter. Cause I just had an ephinany when I saw this decklist, and it was "splash blue for draw so you'll never be topdecking"
I guess that was where I was going. I was just too tired yestterday to bother with typing it out.

The nyxalid guy is too conditioal for me, but a spectre with unearth looks pretty good to me. But mulldrifter is pretty good. Profane command is pretty good, too.

You can ALWAYS Splash for Mulldrifter.
