I've seen a lot of plumeveil. It is a perfect turn three answer to FoD, and it helps stall vs everything else. -4 wrath, +4 plumeveil.
I like Broodmate Dragon. I understand Child of Alara is for the funny, but -2 child +2 dragon would make for a better deck?
It is almost like you have too much draw. 26 lands is pretty bulky, so a ponder in your opening hand will give you some peace of mind. If it were my deck, and I had ponder + cc + esper charm + mulldrifter + cu...I'd -1 land, -1 ponder -1, +2 nucklavee. I've seen people using him to get back a cc AND a cu. Plus he blocks. With that much draw, losing a land and an early game draw won't hurt. You'll still probably have a turn three draw two and a turn four draw/counter.
Or if you want to keep your theme of destroying everything (which sounds pretty awesome) you can add martial coup and/or austere command.
I have a feeling like I've seen someone building something like this before - didn't Sean give it a go, back when he was real big on his Charm deck?
Either way, looks like you've got everything you need - draw with mulldrifter or ponders, counter burn with broken ambitions, cryptics.
Creature kill with wraths, volcanic, and path.
Nothing really left to do but wait for a child or mulldrifter to win.
Cruel ultimatum late game basically says you'll draw an answer or win condition.
have to just see it played - Cause I can see anything working, right up till it doesn't. Worried about the lands and how it might effect your pacing.
