lol
what about zektar shrine expedition instead of nemesis trap? more mana efficient and looks like it could work well with the deck.
I like the zektar shrine expedition, good call.
I think I'll lose the ench lands and go with the expedition and...shambling remains?
Hell's Thunder would be better than the horde.
Ball Lightning
Hellspark Elemental
Elemental Appeal
Mark of Mutiny
Teetering Peaks
a few other cards to look at ^^^^
Blood braid by the way could be a complete champ for the deck.... in fact, I think that Bituminous Blast is also missing from this decklist for its potential ability to cascade into every spell this deck has.
Nice, mark of mutiny...i like it a lot
Oops, thanks to z0rs, I notice that I was mistaken, Ooze garden does not exile, so it is just fine with the unearth creatures.... im dumb.
Abyssal Persecutor
Blitz Hellion
Butcher of Malakir (expensive but fun)
Paleoloth (recursion is fun too!)
Ruinous Minotaur
Terra Stomper
I was specifically looking for cheap fatties with a drawback...found other stuff too.
hey, great ideas. especially abyssal persecutor. that guy is the best.
i'll edit my original to reflect the changes
maybe bituminous blast as a 2 of instead of butcher?
The following is an adapted Jund deck:
Creatures
4 Bloodbraid Elf
4 Abyssal Persecutor
2 Master of the Wild Hunt
4 Sprouting Thrinax
Enchantments
4 Ooze Garden
Instants
3 Bituminous Blast
4 Lightning Bolt
2 Terminate
Sorceries
3 Maelstrom Pulse
Planeswalkers:
2 Garruk, Wildspeaker
2 Sarkhan Vol
Lands
3 Forest
3 Mountain
3 Swamp
4 Dragonskull Summit
4 Rootbound Crag
4 Savage Lands
4 Verdant Catacombs
oops, forgot to put the Oran-Riefs in there. Also, there may need to be other land adjustments to that as well.
maybe a land base more like:
Basic Lands
3 Forest
3 Mountain
3 Swamp
Lands
2 Dragonskull Summit
2 Lavaclaw Reaches
4 Raging Ravine
2 Oran Rief, the Vastwood
4 Savage Lands
4 Verdant Catacombs
-2 Master of the Wild Hunt for
+2 Mark of Mutiny maybe?
Yeah, I was gonna say you need some Mark of Mutiny MD. It is better than removal, and give you MD answers to baneslayer. The synergy with ooze garden is awesome. Plus, the best thing to do in Magic is killing people with their own doods, and then turning them into a big blob of ooze that you keep killing them with. I might even say -2 garruk +2 mutiny, just so you can get 4 in there. having 2 more in the board isn't terrible, though. I like it. It doesn't look as fun as my build (to me) but it does look, well, like a solid jund deck. It probably performs pretty good. playtesting will be required. I like the way you're thinking. We can make OOZE GARDEN viable! The looks on their faces will be priceless!
(It is gonna roll over to RDW, and i'd say white weanie, vampires and allies might be a bad match-up. CU might be a hard match-up (do to double-negative and lightning bolts and such to keep em alive long enough to hit it), but other non-red control might be a better match-up, especially if they are relying on Baneslayer, and I have Nemesis Trap in. But the stone idol trap is pretty good vs control and might steal me the first game.
I'm thinking pretty hard about some rampant growth.
Wednesday evening is gonna be a good time for me to do playtesting and get some decks together. there is an outside chance i'll even be able to fnm this coming friday.
cool.
-3 jund charm
+3 Maelstrom Pulse.
Pusle is too good in cascade decks, its solid removal that can come off the back of a bituminous blast.
