This is better than 5c ultimadeum because it has a better manabase, it is faster, and it let's us play creatures on turn 3 (instead of playing broodmate dragon late game). A turn 3 crusher will at the least draw a agony warp, and about 30% of the time might live to turn nine to be a huge threat. Most decks are playing wall of reverence, plumeveil, and broodmate. We have crusher, mauler, and a janky artifact!

dude, totally -2 Ultimatum or -4 Countryside Crusher. You can not play these cards in the same deck. One says I eat lands, the other says I eat Mana. you can do one or the other, not both.

don't let that bother you. If crusher stays on the board eating lands, 1. I'm already winning and I don't need CU, and 2. I can still draw lands with ponder and drifters. I agree that it looks crazy, but I've been testing it on mtgo and it destroys control or combo. I tend to lose games that my opponent plays FOD turn 1...

As for crusher, if my opponent is leaving him in play, I win. Trust me.

I agree with the crusher in the deck. I still haven't really seen a reason to have CU in deck. The main point of this deck is to use Crusher / Mauler to beat face and win. why not replace CU with a card that is potentially playable in every game. (Profane Command would be better for instance.)
