I had thought of her and decided against it, but she is good and good players probably play her. if i ever get any of that card, i'd love to put them in this deck. i'm guessing its going for ten to twenty a pop, but i haven't looked. if its affordable, that'd be cool.
Elspeth looks to be over 20 a piece, so she may not be an option, but if she becomes one, I think she makes games very winnable.
What about Cloudgoat Ranger?
What about Meadow Boon?
Cloudgoat Ranger looks like a pretty good option for Elspeth, however, you are going to need to find another cut to make 3-of in that case.
If you wanted to go with Meadowboon, I would suggest going to Lorwyn's Ajani instead. Ajani HAS to be answered and creates many more options for the deck. plus, you can do a straight exchange -Elspeth + Ajani.
I made some changes...The epic planeswalker would be real good, but way out of my price range.
